Note: All material to be supplied electronically for Direct To Plate printing - NO Litho Positives will be accepted.

FILE FORMATS:

Material must be supplied in at least one of the following file formats:

  • Original file with final layout in Freehand, Photoshop or Quark Express (CorelDRAW files will be accomodated but is not preferred). All files must be collected for output with fonts converted to curves/paths. Ensure that all photos / graphics are included on the disk. All material must be supplied in 300dpi (High-resolution)
  • CMYK format. - TIFF files must all be 300dpi and include at least 5mm bleed all round - PDF files MUST be Litho Print quality with the minimum bleed included
  • All Advertising material MUST be accompanied by a decent colour rendition / chromalin of final approved artwork. (Please ensure your client understands that digital printouts are not 100% colour accurate).
  • Trilogy Publishing will not be held liable for any material not adhering to the given size / specifications. The onus lies with the designer / advertising agency / client to see that the correct material is supplied.
  • Trilogy Publishing will not be held responsible for any spelling mistakes, poor quality photographs / graphics / logos used in the material supplied.
  • Trilogy Publishing will not be held responsible for material not complying to the given magazine dimensions and bleed requirements.

Independent Design Services available

Trilogy Publishings’ independent repro house can assist you in producing advertising material to the correct pecifications, provided written confirmation has been given by the advertiser accepting the additional quoted cost for the designing of such material.
