Bosch and Motul team up

Motul is set to continue its expansion in the Southern African automotive market following their appointment as a National Deal Partner to the Bosch Workshop Concept partnership program, namely, Bosch Car Service and Autocrew dealer networks.

MOTUL is a French company specialising in the formulation, production and distribution of high-tech engine lubricants. Recognised for more than 160 years for the quality of its products, innovation capacity and involvement in the field of competition, Motul is also recognised as the specialist in synthetic lubricants and a leader in lubricant products with OEM approvals and homologations. As early as 1971, Motul was the first lubricant manufacturer to pioneer the formulation of a 100% synthetic lubricant for automotive engines.

The Bosch Group comprises Robert Bosch GmbH and its more than 360 subsidiaries and regional companies in some 50 countries. If its sales and service partners are included, then Bosch is represented in roughly 150 countries. Its operations are divided into four business sectors: Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. Within the Automotive Aftermarket Division, the Bosch Service network consists some 16,500 workshops of around the world ensure greater safety and reliability on the road for the motorist.

Following a formal application and interview process Motul was appointed as a National Deal Partner; thanks to a quality alignment, between the impressive ranges of high quality OEM approved lubricants and the high quality standards of the Bosch Workshop Concept partners, a partnership was established. The added benefit to the Bosch Workshop Concept partners, is that Motul has the ability to offer flexible and innovative solutions in terms supply, support and training.

The appointment allows Motul to approach over a 150 Bosch Car Service and Autocrew workshops in Southern African region with Motul’s high quality, OEM approved lubricants.

Within the early stages of the appointment Motul has already borne fruits, with seven 7 Bosch Car Service Centres signed on to use Motul products.
