“Although production of the belts shifted from our plant in Uitenhage, South Africa, to the company’s facility in Sonepat Haryana, India, all of the products manufactured by this plant conform to Continental’sglobal production standards, and customers are assured of the very best quality and performance from all our fan belts and multi-V belts,” Dunn adds.

It boasts high-tech research, development and testing facilities, and boasts the latest technologies for each stage of the manufacturing process, including an automated carbon feeding system and state-of-the-art presses for the curing of its rubber components. It has achieved the highest level of global ISO certifications, including the ISO 9001 standard for quality management systems, theIATF 16949 quality certification developed specifically for the automotive sector, as well as ISO 14001 for environmental management.
