Customers take to the road #WithCheryWithLove

The love is spreading fast this festive season as Chery South Africa and its growing customer base share their first pics at their local Chery dealership and on the road.

Chery officially unveiled the Tiggo 4 Pro and their network of dealers on 24 November this year. To celebrate the occasion, they invited the first Tiggo owners – Mr and Mrs Jordaan – to join the launch event in Sandton and collect the keys to their car.

“During the launch event, the Jordaan family told us that they were excited to take their Tiggo 4 Pro on the road as they go on holiday to Bela Bela. So we decided to invite other customers to share their road trip plans and holiday pictures with us,” says Tony Liu, Executive Deputy General Manager of Chery South Africa.

Chery is celebrating these pictures on their social media channels under the tag #WithCheryWithLove.

Says Liu: “There is some history to the ‘With Chery With Love’ campaign. After Chery became the largest exporter of vehicles in China, we felt the need to recognise and thank the many customers that are joining the brand.

“We invited customers from as far afield as Russia and Brazil to share their experiences with their Chery while using the tag #WithCheryWithLove. And with a new customer joining Chery every two minutes, this has taken on a life of its own. We hope this will also happen in South Africa.”

Chery has certainly started its journey in South Africa on a high note. After completing its local durability testing, it sealed partnerships with WesBank, Absa and the Automobile Association to provide finance to customers and dealers and comprehensive roadside assistance to its owners.

Soon after this, Chery finalised its contracts with the first 30 South African dealers, giving the brand a strong national footprint from the first day of trading.

“Many of the dealers were with us at the Tiggo 4 Pro launch in Sandton where we announced our industry-leading mechanical warranty,” says Liu. “They have applauded our commitment to our product and have given their own commitment to make sure we offer customers the best possible service.”

Every Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, regardless of specification, is sold with a 1 million kilometre or 10-year mechanical warranty. While this warranty is subject to a set of terms and conditions, it still outshines any other mechanical warranty in South Africa.

“With the foundations now firmly in place, we look forward to a very busy and exciting 2022. We are planning several new models and look forward to some exciting news from Chery on the global stage.

“We hope every Chery customer has a pleasant and restful Festive Season and that they return rested and ready to take on the new year,” says Liu.
