During the 2026 Chery International User Summit, the LEPAS L6 EV completed its first LEPAS Global Elegance Drive on October 19–20 as part of the inaugural LEPAS Global Elegant Lifestyle Week, held under the theme “TOGETHER IN ELEGANCE.”
Bringing together 34 Elegant Driving Ambassadors from 15 countries, the approximately 700-kilometer journey from Shanghai to Wuhu passed through Tonglu, Qiandao Lake and Shexian, putting the L6 EV’s driving dynamics, ride comfort, intelligent parking, driving range and charging performance to the test across diverse road conditions.
Experiencing Elegance on Every Road
On the first day, the convoy traveled from Shanghai to Qiandao Lake. The L6 EV’s 540° panoramic view system helped drivers navigate urban traffic with greater confidence, while its ADAS features supported a more relaxed driving experience on highways and urban expressways.
Thomas Jervis, an Elegant Driving Ambassador from the UK’s Auto Express, commented: “The acceleration of the LEPAS L6 EV is very smooth, and its power delivery on straight roads and when merging onto highways is sufficient to meet my needs.” He also highlighted the driving range, noting that it was broadly in line with the officially stated figures.
At Qiandao Lake, participants experienced Automated Parking Assist (APA) and Remote Parking Assist (RPA) in narrow parking spaces, as well as the L6 EV’s vehicle-to-load (V2L) function in an outdoor camping setting. Against the backdrop of lakeside scenery, local delicacies and relaxing music, they shared their driving impressions and exchanged views on new energy mobility from a global perspective, offering valuable insights to help LEPAS continue improving the mobility experience for users across different markets.
Through Mountain Roads: Experiencing Driving Comfort and Control
On the second day, the convoy continued toward Wuhu along winding mountain roads and changing gradients, bringing driving dynamics and passenger comfort into focus. Through successive bends, participants experienced precise steering response that closely followed driver inputs, along with well-controlled body roll that helped maintain a stable and confident driving experience. On uphill and downhill sections, power delivery and braking worked together smoothly. Over uneven road surfaces, the chassis effectively absorbed bumps, with minimal residual jolts felt by rear-seat passengers, reinforcing the L6 EV’s ability to deliver a composed driving experience alongside passenger comfort.
The cabin’s quietness, generous legroom and headroom, and intelligent features further contributed to a comfortable long-distance journey. Jacobus Gert Hendrik Venter, an Elegant Driving Ambassador from South Africa’s Navigating Media, shared his impressions: “The interior really stands out to me. The materials feel refined, the build quality is impressive, and the Sony sound system is absolutely great. LEPAS has really nailed the sound experience.”
From driving dynamics in the driver’s seat to the spacious comfort of the rear seats, the journey allowed participants to experience the LEPAS L6 EV’s overall capabilities across diverse real-world driving conditions and from different seating positions, discovering how elegant technology can bring greater ease and refinement to every journey.
From seeing elegance to experiencing it, the first-ever LEPAS Global Elegance Drive put the L6 EV to the test on real roads, bringing the elegance of driving to life.
