Ethekwini Motor Skills Festival seeks to promote safety on our roads through education, law enforcement and promotion of moral value. Many lives are lost from illegal motorsports and reckless driving. The main purpose of the event is also to promote Technical studies at school levels, promote self sustenance and local tourism in South Africa.
The rationale behind this approach is the fact that the automotive sector forms a significant part of everybody’s life and South Africans have their own motoring culture.
Vehicles are no longer a means to an end, but an extension of yourself. What you drive now needs to appeal to your lifestyle and personality. Consumers want to experience the brand and with the current economic climate, they are seeking better buying options and value for money.
