The 2023 Festival of Motoring Knows How to Deliver a Hot Lap!

The sixth instalment of the popular Festival of Motoring will once more look to make optimal use of the legendary Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit as it refines the four-zone layout that has proved so successful in previous years. This sees the show divided into four colour-coded activity zones, each one offering visitors a carefully curated experience to suit the theme of the dedicated area.

While the Blue off-roading Zone is guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever before, those less inclined to adopt a slow-and-steady approach will have the Green Zone to look forward to. Hosted in the pit lane area of this world-class racing facility, visitors to this area will be treated to hot lap passenger rides in a selection of vehicles from several motoring brands.

If these complimentary rides aren’t thrilling enough, a purchased ticket could land you in the passenger seat of one of the vehicles from Simola Hillclimb, Shelby Mustang, and BMW Motorsport Series.

If you thought your track experience was fast, wait until you witness the scheduled demonstration laps from an A1GP Ferrari single-seater and a 1989 Minardi M189 Formula One car.

This year, Michelin is the Festival of Motoring’s exclusive VIP Hospitality Partner. Guests in the Michelin Premium Suite will experience uninterrupted and enviable views of track activities, and also go on a culinary journey curated by renowned South African Michelin-trained chef, Wandile Mabaso. Michelin will also host immersive drive experiences at the various circuits directly to the public, along with exclusive adrenaline-packed hot laps for VIP guests, giving them firsthand experience of Michelin performance tyres around the main circuit in performance vehicles. Live entertainment scheduled for all 3 days featuring saxophonist BONGANE_SAX and other DJ sessions. Holders of VIP tickets to this year's Festival of Motoring are in for a uniquely thrilling experience

The Galleria area of this Green Zone will play host to several exhibitors and focused experiences from some of the leading automotive-related brands in South Africa.

As before, a free shuttle service will transport visitors to the Festival of Motoring between each zone, while a complimentary park-and-ride system will once again operate between the Mall of Africa and the venue.
