Range Rover House, the invitation-only experience which presents Range Rover’s vision of modern, sustainable luxury and design leadership, celebrates its return to Monterey, California with a reprise of the exquisitely crafted Range Rover SV Carmel Edition.

Range Rover is one of the world’s foremost luxury brands, leading by example since 1970 through originality and exemplary design. Range Rover House exemplifies the brand’s DNA, bringing true modern luxury to life through curated experiences. Each house – meticulously designed under the direction of Chief Creative Officer Professor Gerry McGovern OBE – embodies Range Rover’s luxurious, modernist and relevant design philosophy, while reflecting local and cultural trends and events.

Following its debut in Carmel, California, in 2022, a total of 15 Range Rover House events have opened their doors by invitation only, for anything from a few days to a few weeks. Destinations have included a private residence with stunning views of the Sydney harbour, and the heart of London’s vibrant Mayfair.

Each Range Rover House offers clients a sanctuary to unwind, attend one-of-a-kind luxury experiences with partners and experts and be the first in the world to see and drive some of Range Rover’s most exclusive models at locations aligned with the global cultural calendar – from prestigious sporting events, to design, alpine and nautical occasions.

Geraldine Ingham, Managing Director, Range Rover, said: “We are at an exciting time in Range Rover’s sixth decade, reimagining the future through sustainability-rich luxury experiences, as we move at pace to electrify the world’s most beautiful SUVs.”

“Our clients are seeking more intimate, memorable experiences, which offer an emotional connection beyond a traditional car showroom. Having the opportunity to interact in intimate settings strengthens our relationships.”

“As such, Range Rover House will continue to expand its reach across the globe, as we widen our offering with reservations opening for our fully electric Range Rover later this year.”

The first Range Rover House opened in August 2022, set along a cove on the Pacific Ocean, California. Here Range Rover revealed the ultra-exclusive Range Rover SV Carmel Edition, with a unique specification created by SV Bespoke. Returning in 2023 to the exclusive modernist home on the coastline, the reprised Range Rover SV Carmel Edition is limited to a handful units, exclusively for North America.

Taking inspiration from Carmel as the pearl within the Californian coastline, this unique specification curated by the SV Bespoke personalisation team features colours and materials expressing the beauty and tranquillity of the region.

A cool and complementary SV Bespoke Special Effect Gloss white exterior paint uses delicate and highly reflective fine white glass flake particles in the solid base coat to create a glistening and sophisticated shimmer synonymous with the Pacific Ocean. This finish extends to the matching inserts on the 23” triple-finish Diamond Turned Dark Grey Gloss forged alloy wheels.

The unique interior, inspired by the warm beaches of Carmel, features contrasting two-tone front-to-rear Perlino and Deep Garnet semi-aniline leather with the signature Carmel Edition embroidery design. The coastal inspiration continues through the integration of Cream Ash Burr veneer, gloss white ceramic touchpoints and Pearl Oyster carpet. SV Bespoke Carmel Edition-embroidered cushions and branded illuminated treadplates also provide consistent elements found only on Range Rover SV Carmel Editions.

The 2024 Range Rover SV Carmel Edition is exclusively available as a Long Wheelbase, with the pinnacle four-seat SV Signature Suite cabin featuring an electrically deployable Club Table and integrated refrigerator. Power is provided by the latest 606hp twin turbo V8 MHEV gasoline engine.

Since 2022, Range Rover House has expanded its global footprint, with intimate, luxurious pop-ups opening across four continents, including the Alpine Italian resort of Courmayeur at the foot of Mont Blanc, a private residence overlooking Sydney Harbour, and most recently, the luxurious Cap D’Antibes on the French Riviera during July 2023.

Range Rover House also provided the backdrop for the global debut of the Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE, showcasing the new performance flagship to more than 1,000 clients in seven locations: Dubai, Tokyo, Frankfurt, Miami, London, Cheshire and Los Angeles. With all vehicles reserved by invitation only ahead of its global reveal in May, clients had the opportunity to finalise their Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE specification and learn more about its world-first technologies while being fully immersed in Range Rover’s reductive and modern design philosophy.

Range Rover House will return to France at Le Royal Monceau Raffles, open from mid-September.
