Seller, Purificati ZX10 Kings of Zwartkops

Another Seller double as Purificati takes the title

While Clinton Seller sailed to another double SunBet ZX10 Masters Cup Powered by Tork Craft victory at Zwartkops, Damion Purificati clinched both the 2026 overall and Class B championships with a round to spare at Saturday’s National Extreme Festival.

Seller took his customary pole with a storming 1 minute 02.816 lap on his King Price Kawasaki, a second clear of Class B poleman Purificati’s Amalgum Welding Shop machine. Daryn Upton lined up third on his Motorwise machine ahead of James Barson’s Two Wheel Strategy entry, Trevor Westman’s Project Sixty SA bike, Hein McMahon on his K9 Law Enforcement Kawasaki, Keith Agliotti for Dream Team, and Adriaan van Dalen's Citadel machine.

Henk Kruger’s Habot Lubricants Kawasaki, Byron Rothquel for Northern Bolt & Tool, Tyron Piper’s Bikers Delite entry, Abrie Marais on the Pumptron bike, Pieter Delport’s Delport Logistics machine, and Class C pole-sitter Reginald Seale on his Gauteng Motor Lease Kawasaki lined up behind.

Nothing would however stop Seller, who checked out to win Race 1 by eight seconds from Damion Purificati, with Trevor Westman third from Hein McMahon, Adriaan van Dalen, Keith Agliotti, and Byron Rothquel. Purificati’s second overall gave him an emphatic Class B victory over Henk Kruger and Tyron Piper, while Reginald Seale took Class C from Pieter Delport after Daryn Upton retired.

ZX10 King Seller doubled up in Race 2, beating Purificati by five seconds second time around. Class C winner James Barson edged Hein McMahon and Trevor Westman for third overall, with Keith Agliotti, Adriaan van Dalen, Renatus van Niekerk, Reginald Seale, and Pieter Delport completing the top ten. Purificati swept Class B ahead of Byron Rothquel, Tyron Piper, Henk Kruger, and Abrie Marais.

So, while Clinton Seller took the overall win, a solid double second was enough for Damion Purificati to wrap up both the overall and Class B SunBet ZX10 Masters Powered by Tork Craft titles for 2026. Trevor Westman ended third overall, while Reginald Seale won Class C.

All that now remains to be seen, is where Clinton Seller, who missed half the season to mend an old injury, ends up in the championship chase after November's East London finale.
