Bethlehem is a fast growing town in the eastern Free State province of South Africa, and thus served as a good place for the Partinform roadshow to kick-off off its 2018 calendar
Serving as a focal point in a big wheat growing area, and named after the biblical Bethlehem from "Beit Lechem", Hebrew for "house of bread", the town is the seat of the Dihlabeng Local Municipality. Clearly a place to make some dough, it is home to thriving shopping centres, private hospitals, hotels, schools, and entertainment centres. Industries have also identified Bethlehem as a good yeasty location, with Coco-Cola, AB InBev, Nestlé, and petroleum and engineering companies imposing their presence in the town, which thankfully has no traffic jams. And did you know that Free State Stars and Super Eagles F.C are based in Bethlehem? If you’re not a soccer lover, what about the fact that rugby brothers Jannie and Bismarck du Plessis call Bethlehem home, and that rugby legend, in both union and league, Tom van Vollenhoven, was born in this scenic town.
Toasting these facts, the entrepreneurs and staff of the automotive aftermarket from the eastern Free State descended on the Loft Guest House on the evening of 7 February 2018, to get a slice of the Partinform action. aBr, South Africa’s premier automotive aftermarket publication, is not averse to buttering up all the Partinform events, and was happy to provide coverage of the crusty and crispy folk who keep the wheels of Bethlehem and its surrounds turning efficiently.
Where the Action Goes Down
The Partinform members’ stands is where it all happens, with the visitors learning about new products, picking up technical tips, sorting out fitment queries, ordering catalogues, and much more.
At the end of the evening, the visitors get a chance to show how much they’ve learned at the show, with the winner getting the opportunity, together with his/her partner, to attend the Partinform Year End Function in November, and to participate in some Xtreme Karting.
