Auto Maintenance and Repair (AMR) Expo highlights latest developments in maintenance and repair industry as NEVs and new demands shape the future

As intelligent technologies and new energy reshape the automotive industry, alongside rising demand among car owners for transparent, high‑quality, and efficient maintenance services, innovations such as remote monitoring, preventative diagnostics, electronic inspections, and automated maintenance are refining procedures, making aftermarket services more efficient, standardised, and digitalised.

The 74th edition of the Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR), taking place from 13 to 15 April 2026 at the Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center (CIECC) in Beijing, will spotlight these advancements. As one of China’s leading trade shows for the automotive aftermarket, AMR serves as a gateway for trade, knowledge exchange, and talent development. Adapting an innovative model that combines exhibition, talent development and competitions, the show aims to help workshops identify new opportunities and connect with resources to enhance value, while reflecting the industry’s digital and intelligent transformation through smart diagnostics, ICE and NEV maintenance, car care, customising, and more.

Electrification is also driving new challenges in repair and maintenance. Standardised NEV servicing is becoming essential, with data‑driven technologies like remote diagnostics and intelligent analysis enabling a shift from reactive to proactive maintenance. These solutions improve first‑time fix rates, reduce costs, and address safety concerns around high‑voltage systems and battery inspections.

In addition, the show will also feature a Commercial Vehicle & Road Transport Equipment Zone that showcases leading commercial vehicles and technological innovations that help professional handle everyday road conditions and unexpected incidents.

By presenting these technologies, AMR empowers the industry to innovate and transform in preparation for the future.
