The 15th Automechanika Kuala Lumpur to be a platform for business synergies where automotive mobility solutions meet OEMs and the aftermarket

Automechanika Kuala Lumpur returns from 14 to 16 May 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), showcasing Malaysia’s rising role in automotive mobility.

With a focus on AI, digitalisation, electrification, new energy and sustainability, the event brings together OEMs, aftermarket, innovators and government associations to facilitate trade, technology exchange and cross‑border collaboration for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and fleets.

Malaysia’s automotive market is primed for growth with its rising car ownership, ageing fleets, digital adoption and a growing middle class resulting in the country leading ASEAN car sales in the first half of 2025. National initiatives such as MIDA’s Supply Chain Development and Partnership Programme with Hyundai underscore efforts to boost local capabilities, technology transfer and NEV development, reinforcing Malaysia as an attractive investment destination.

Key features include the Automotive Mobility Solutions Zone and conference, which spotlights green mobility investment, electrification, digitalised supply chains, and more to foster collaboration among innovators, OEMs and policymakers. Additionally, the new Automotive Service Marketplace brings together detailing and customising shops, body and paint specialists, chain stores, workshops and retail/e‑tail centres.

The show will see increased participation across Parts & Components and Electrics & Electronics, with broader coverage in Accessories & Customising, Diagnostics & Repair, Oils, Lubricants & Fuels, Car Wash & Detailing, Wheels & Tyres and Body & Paint. The Collision Repair Training Workshop returns with live spray‑booth demonstrations, as it continues to drive skills and technology adoption.

Finally, autoFEST@KL offers networking and cultural engagement through the autoFEST@KL Music Party, Classic and JDM car displays, motorsports and e-sports activities, the EMMA Malaysia Car Audio and Modification Competition, and more, making Automechanika Kuala Lumpur a vital platform for the region’s automotive industry.
