Intersec Europe will make its debut in Frankfurt am Main from 14–16 September 2027, bringing together physical security, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence in an integrated approach to protecting buildings, businesses and critical infrastructure.
The new European platform will focus on the requirements of operators and end users, alongside decision-makers responsible for security strategies and investment. With its launch, Messe Frankfurt is expanding the internationally established Intersec brand with a standalone event in Frankfurt.
An integrated approach to security
Emerging threats and new EU-level regulations are changing security requirements for businesses, public authorities and infrastructure operators.
Intersec Europe will address these developments through an exhibition supported by a conference, networking and business matchmaking. The focus will be on products, technologies and services designed to protect buildings, business premises, public spaces and infrastructure.
Exhibitors will present solutions ranging from video surveillance, access control and perimeter protection to fire detection and alarm systems, cybersecurity and AI applications.
Companies supporting the event from its launch include Abus, Assa Abloy, Dormakaba, ECO Schulte, GEZE, Hodapp, NSC, Salto and Winkhaus.
Building on international experience
Wolfgang Marzin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Messe Frankfurt, says:
“For more than 20 years, we have been staging Intersec Global in Dubai, one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for the security industry. In Frankfurt, we are now drawing on this experience, our global network and the strength of our international trade fair portfolio, comprising 13 events. With Intersec Europe, we are creating a dedicated platform for the European market.”
Connecting providers with decision-makers
As a pan-European event, Intersec Europe will connect security technology providers with professionals who plan, procure and deploy products and solutions for buildings and critical infrastructure.
Its intended audience includes specialist planners, engineering and consultancy firms, system integrators, security professionals, building and infrastructure operators, and technical procurement professionals.
Part of a global security portfolio
Intersec Europe is the latest addition to Messe Frankfurt’s global Safety, Security & Fire trade fair portfolio, which comprises 13 events supporting the security industry in markets worldwide.
The Intersec brand is represented in Dubai, Argentina, Saudi Arabia and China. Under the Secutech brand, Messe Frankfurt also offers platforms in Taiwan, Thailand, India and Vietnam. Specialist conferences and events in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and India complete the portfolio.
